If you’re setting up voicemail for the first time, just follow these simple steps:
Call 555 from your mobile
Listen to the tutorial, and when prompted choose a new Access Code
Confirm your new Access Code
Record your welcome message and select #
You’ll now be all set up
To change your mailbox name after initial set up:
When logged into voicemail, press 2
Press 3 to record your name and follow instructions
Record your name and select #
Follow the instructions and you’ll now be all set up
Checking your voicemail is simple:
Dial 555 from your phone and follow the instructions
Dial 07870 020 555 from any other phone and follow the instructions
Dial +44 7870 020 555 when you’re abroad and follow the instructions
It’s worth knowing that, when you’re calling from abroad, you might be asked for your voicemail Access Code as verification. If this happens and you’ve forgotten it, just give us a ring:

If you’re in the UK, you can get us on 500 from your Ecotalk phone or 0333 800 5500 from any other phone (standard rates apply)
If you’d like to turn your voicemail off, just call us on:

You can reactivate voicemail at any time by giving us a ring on either of the numbers above.
To help you reduce costs on your phone bill, we no longer charge for voicemail calls. That way, you won’t be shocked by any unexpected charges.
However, it’s worth knowing that standard roaming charges will apply if you’re abroad when you listen to voicemail.
Before you go away, make sure you know your Access Code so that you can access your voicemail when you're out of the country

If you are asked for your voicemail Access Code and can’t remember it, give us a call on +44 1453 761 500 (standard roaming charges apply).
Your Ecotalk voicemail uses a feature called ‘Fast Log in’. This means that if you're calling from your own phone, you'll be able to access your voicemail without entering an Access Code, even if you've previously set one up.
If you'd like the highest level of voicemail security you should turn off Fast Log in. You can turn it off easily in just a few steps:
Dial 555 to access your voicemail
Select option 3
Select option 2
Finally, select option 1
Once you hang up, you'll then need to enter your Access Code to access your voicemail, even when you call from your own phone. We recommend that you try this now to confirm that everything is working.
If you'd like to change your Access Code, just follow these simple steps:
Call 555 from your phone
Select option 3
Select option 1
Enter your current Access Code
Enter a new Access Code
Listen to confirm the Access Code you’ve entered
If happy with the Access Code you’ve entered press 1
Your voicemail Access Code will now have changed. No one from Ecotalk will be able to find out what your Access Code is.
Tips to help you choose a Access Code:
Avoid using repeat digits, e.g. 112233
Avoid anything obvious e.g. your birthday
Change your Access Code regularly
Change your Access Code if you suspect someone else may have guessed it
